TIME FOR A REFRESH…

Summit Information Resources came to OrangeBall with two initial challenges. First, it was time for a name change. Second, with a name change came the opportunity to refresh the branding and prepare the company for the new services they were adding to their mix.

The company was well-known, and brand equity was already in place, but they were also in a position where the existing identity was starting to feel dated. In the cutting-edge technology space, this needed to be addressed.

A 360 APPROACH

AN IDENTITY FOR THE FUTURE…

Collaborating with the leadership at Summit Information Resources, we landed on Summit 360 as the new brand name. It allowed the company to hold on to some of their past legacy and roots while stepping into the future with a name that spoke to their new service offering: IT Asset Disposition (ITAD).

Building off of the 360 concept, we were able to create a logo and a story that convey Summit 360’s place in technology’s “circular economy,” where they support new and refurbished IT equipment, including the disposal and resale of previously used hardware.

REBRANDING

Supporting the new Summit 360 logo and identity, a collection of logos was created for each of the company’s service offerings and programs.

THE DIGITAL EXPERIENCE…

As the new logo and ITAD services were launched, a website refresh was also part of the overall rebranding work. The new brand colors, visuals, and fonts were woven in throughout the site, bringing the new branding to life and elevating the digital experience for new prospects and long-time customers. At the same time, we also walked Summit 360 through a brand messaging Bootcamp where we developed new, engaging ways to tell the Sumit 360 story to customers and staff.

CARRYING IT THROUGH…

With the logo, service marks, and the new website in place, we continued carrying the new branding through a combination of presentation designs, printed resources, and brand graphics that tell the Summit 360 story. Each individual piece was developed with consistency in mind, focused on creating a cohesive brand experience through every touchpoint.

A 30 YEAR LEGACY…

As Summit 360 prepared to celebrate thirty years of serving customers in the new and refurbished hardware business, an additional logo was developed to mark that anniversary. Again, we focused on maintaining consistency with the new branding while also creating some special to celebrate the accomplishment.
