To shine a spotlight on life sciences for a K-12 audience, InukshukBio is focused on an interactive solution for filling a fundamental gap in STEM learning. What’s an “inukshuk” you may ask? “Inukshuk” (pronounced “in-ook-shook”) is the Inuit word for specific piles of stones typically arranged into human forms, long used by indigenous Arctic peoples as navigational markers during long travels across the vast, featureless wilds of the north. To build this brand identity, we created a logo that fuses the inukshuk figure with Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man drawings. Using polygons to create the design, we were able to utilize this style throughout the entire InukshukBio website experience.
